Journey to Halekala National Park

Who would have thought it would be fifty to sixty degrees in Hawaii? Well, I didn’t and neither did my family. On our first day in Maui after a relaxing day by the pool my family and I journeyed to see a beautiful crater. The Halekala National Park had a fantastic sundown to go with the surrounding crater that was formed there. Even though, it was cold going for a walk to see what was there and observing the surroundings was worth it.

The plants were beautiful to watch as we drove up the hilly mountain. Around sharp curves we saw the plants that are silver due to the surroundings. My sister snapped a shot of this plant.
