9/11 Memorial

Tomorrow marks the fourteenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. Back in August, I got the chance to visit the 9/11 memorial in New York City. Walking through the memorial and hearing the stories made my eyes water. There was so much that was inside the museum, from the survivor steps to a fire truck that was there. Parts of the airplane and remainders of the twin towers were there to. Special toys that belonged to children and personal belongings of those who lost their lives. There were certain parts of the museum where it is requested you do not take photos. Walking through you heard the stories and saw the pictures of, not just America’s, but the world’s reaction to the horrific attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001.
