Mashed potatoes have been made in many different ways. However, my mom found the best way to make them. I picked up on making them a couple years ago and they taste as good as every. Mashed potatoes are a part of Thanksgiving dinners as well as all year round meal.
8 red skinned potatoes
1 8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup milk
2 Tbsp butter
Boil the potatoes (I keep the skin on). Once the potatoes are done boiling mash up the potatoes. Add the cream cheese and mash again. Add in the butter and milk and mash again. Warm up again in the microwave on high for ten minutes in a microwave proof dish or until warm. Then enjoy!
