One of my all time favorite books is The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The perfect summer romance about a man who never gave up on his dream. Told through the eyes of Nick Carraway, a bystander in this saga, we see the jazz age in a different light. Following Jay Gatsby and his love for Daisy Buchanan as he wins her heart over and over again. However, Daisy is married to a man who has an affair leading to danger around for Jay, Daisy, and Nick as the summer ends. Taking place in the 1920’s against the high end East Egg on Long Island making a The Great Gatsby a true summer classic.
