Happy Independence Day everyone! On July 4th, 1776 the Declaration of Independence was signed setting the course for a new country to be born. In the Netflix series House of Cards we see the dark side of politics in the United States of America. Like other countries, America is not perfect.

Now, onto House of Cards we follow Frank Underwood as he works his way from congressman to President of the United States. However, his rise to power was not clean. Using the resources he has at his disposal he goes above and beyond hurting, killing, and threatening those who want to take everything away. With his corrupt wife at his side and a blind staff nothing seems to stop Frank Underwood from climbing up the ladder.
