The Balloons
I walked through the park
By a man selling balloons
I walk by not caring
Nor thinking about
The balloons
All of the sudden
I heard a loud noise
A bike had crashed into
The balloon cart
The man was selling
Balloons from
All of the sudden
The balloons float
Into the sky
The balloons I didn’t pay
Much attention to
Were painting
A picture in the sky
Standing in wonder and awe
I look at the colors
That were there
Temporarily
The balloons
Floated away
Into the horizon where
Their colors never fade
